Supporting Our Community: Summerwood Team Steps Up in a Time of Need

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Summerwood family for their selfless dedication to helping others once again and for demonstrating the incredible power of teamwork. On January 31, 2025, there was a tragic plane crash on Cottman Ave in Northeast Philadelphia.  Many of the employees of our Taco Bell located just down the street immediately stepped up, offering to come in early, stay later and help with anything that was needed to help tend to the difficult situation.  Several employees from nearby Taco Bell stores also volunteered to help out as well.  Special thanks to Elyza, Erica, Sarah, Steve, Jen, and everyone who came by to help!

With everyone’s help, they were able to drop off several 12-packs of tacos and bottles of water to the many police officers that were stationed nearby.  They also brought food to the Samuel Fels High School where people were being sheltered.
