Our No. 1 Area Coach Wins a Family Vacation to Myrtle Beach!

That’s why after a year of strong performance, we were delighted to treat Area Coach (AC) Kristin R. and her family to a summer getaway to Myrtle Beach SC!

Kristin and her husband have four kids, which can make coordinating travel a challenge. Luckily, Summerwood offers flexible vacation options and was able help them find the perfect trip for their family. With pointers from our Chief Operating Officer Bret B., Kristin and her husband were able to book a condo oceanside. They enjoyed sunshine and the beach everyday, and also had access to a pool and lazy river. They collected lots of seashells, too!

Kristin has been working for Summerwood since 2021. In her current role, she oversees Area 25 in West Virginia. She won this trip for being our No. 1 Area Coach this year! She appreciates the thought behind how we’ve set up reward programs like this.

“It’s not based on tenure, it’s not about who you know,” she says.  “It’s based on your behaviors, your work ethic. That’s what is truly great.”   

Of her time at Summerwood so far, Kristin seems well aware of the impact a great team has on her own individual performance.  

“It truly is about the people who you have on your team,” she explains. “This is the only job in which I’ve ever had to really truly understand that the relationships and connections you build with your team are more important than anything else.”
