Aaron P. is Making the Most of What’s Possible with Summerwood Taco Bell
Aaron P. has worked for Summerwood Taco Bell for three years and 10 months, and he’s been busy racking up the accolades! It started with his attendance at Taco Bell’s Summer of Connection conference for Live Más scholars, the first glimpse into Aaron’s impressive list of personal goals!
“When I first started, I was simply looking for a job,” Aaron shares of his Taco Bell journey. “I never imagined I’d be flying across the country, meeting the CEO, making lifelong friends, and being awarded for my academic and leadership goals.”

Living Más
Since we first shared about his Summer of Connection experience, Aaron has continued to make the most of the career opportunities offered through Summerwood and Taco Bell. He was recently announced as a three-time Live Más Scholarship winner!
“The Live Más Scholarship has lightened the financial burden and allowed me to focus on what matters: learning, growing and giving back,” Aaron shares. “It’s an investment in my future, and I carry that responsibility with gratitude.”
Aaron strongly encourages others to pursue the same opportunity. “Don’t hesitate to apply,” he stresses. “Your story deserves to be heard, and this team will help bring it to life!”

Working Smarter & Harder
Aaron currently works as a Shift Lead at our Taco Bell restaurant in Downingtown, PA while juggling his sophomore year at Drexel University. With his calming, positive energy, it’s no surprise that Aaron is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in nursing.
“It’s challenging, especially with balancing classes, exams and leadership commitments,” he says. “But I’m learning more every day about how to care for others and show up with purpose.”
Aaron views his success as affirmation that his dreams are not too big and that his story matters. Working for an employer that supports you is important. “Taco Bell is so much more than a fast-food restaurant,” Aarons says. “It’s a family waiting to embrace you and welcome you into the very dream you’re shy of, but they’re already rooting for you.”
Setting Up for Success
By this point we imagine you’re wondering, where does this guy find the time?! Well, grab a pen and get ready to take notes, because Aaron is sharing his secrets to success.
“I prioritize self-care, stay grounded in prayer and lean on my community. I schedule everything —from study blocks to ‘me time’ — and try to be intentional with my energy,” he says.
The Future is Brilliant
Five years from now, Aaron sees himself as a registered nurse making an impact in underserved communities — bridging gaps in healthcare, providing compassionate care and advocating for equity. This is a small glimpse into the passion that surely influenced his three Live Más wins!
“Each opportunity — whether it’s winning a Live Más Scholarship, attending the Summer of Connection, or growing within Summerwood, has reminded me that I’m not alone on this journey,” Aaron says.
