At Summerwood Academy, our focus areas are leadership, life skills and restaurant operations.

Launched in 2025, our best-in-class academy aims to grow Summerwood’s own and qualified external candidates on multiple levels. Professionally, it’s designed to provide opportunities for team members and ambitious restaurant leaders to access the training needed to advance up our career ladder via the Advancement Track.

At Summerwood, we believe in equipping people with life skills. That’s where our Skill Building Track comes into play. With a full suite of a la carte courses and workshops hosted throughout the year – covering topics like conflict management, bullying, financial planning and more – we invite Summerwood Shift Leaders and above to explore additional learning opportunities as their schedules allow.
