Summerwood opens new KFC in Sicklerville

Join us in welcoming a brand new New Jersey-based KFC to the Summerwood family! Our new restaurant opened on Feb. 22, 2022 in Sicklerville, a small town just 20 minutes outside of Philadelphia.

The Team was well prepared for the volume from an operations and staffing perspective. We provided strong support during the opening with Zone coaches available to the group of 50 new Team Members. Carl Coulter, the Director of Operations, and Jeff Hildebrand, Area Coach were on site to coach the team during the opening. This best practice continues to be invaluable during a new opening. Our RGM Shanon Harper, along with his two Assistant Managers and six Shift Supervisors, are also all tenured employees — another great asset.
