Three Openings, One Incredible Holiday Push

The holiday season is always busy, but this year, Summerwood took it to the next level by opening three new Taco Bell locations in rapid succession. Opening three restaurants back to back with success is a true testament to the teamwork and dedication across our organization.

Red Lion, PA

Our Red Lion Taco Bell opening was led by Area Coach (AC) Dave S. and Restaurant General Manager (RGM) Travis R., alongside a powerhouse team that made it happen despite weather challenges and holiday disruptions. 

A huge thank you to Marie G., Andrew M., Joe, and the entire team for delivering an outstanding launch and strong start to sales.

North Salisbury, MD

Next up, we celebrated the opening of our North Salisbury Taco Bell, supported by AC Ervin P. and RGM Shannon W. This team kept the momentum rolling during one of the busiest times of the year, showcasing what’s possible with strong leadership and collaboration!

Sabraton, WV

Finally, we closed out the year with the opening of our newest Kitchen X location in Sabraton, part of the greater Morgantown area. Fun fact: Sabraton began as a company town built around the tin plate industry and, much like its origins, this opening truly took a village!

AC Lauren F. shared her gratitude for the many team members who came together to support the launch, including Marie G., Andrew M., Felicia B., Felecia M., Laurie T., Dan B., Jennifer H., Adrianne M., Terry B. W., Chad Z., Jonathan, Jordan, and our maintenance and IT teams. Special thanks as well to RGMs Dustin L., Zachary N., Gregory M. and RGM Heather K., who owned the opening and ensured everything ran smoothly.

Opening three restaurants so close together, especially during the holidays, speaks volumes about the strength of our teams. We couldn’t be more pumped about this growth and the incredible people behind it. Here’s to building even more momentum in the year ahead!
